Doctor Visit

Yesterday I had a Dr. appointment to check my Blood Pressure (which I knew was high). I just did not know how High! 230 was the lowest reading.......I was sent home with some medicine and told to "Chill". I went to bed to take a nap and just now got up 14 hours later (UGH not me!). I hope to use this as an excuse today and just sit and stitch (lol).

My rotation will now go to Angel of Holiday Spirit. Take Care and Keep Up the Good Work!

Back Home

I am back home and sitting in my favorite stitching chair with Mona Lisa in hand. I sure missed reading all the blogs and keeping track of all the stitching being done.

I had a nice visit with my Mom and always it is nice that I can help her. I always enjoy looking at all the stitched pieces that I have given her that she displays so proudly. Mom picked a pattern for me to stitch "Angel Of Holiday Spirit".

Not Enough Hours In The Day

This has been a very busy week so far. I have been kept very busy at work with extra assignments at work. I have managed to sit and stitch each night about 30 minutes before I find myself falling asleep with needle in hand.

I hope to have more time tomorrow and Saturday to catch up on my stitching. I will be going out of town on Sunday to take care of some thing for my Mom who lives 2 hours away. I will return home on Tuesday.

I must run now and stitch a little with my first cup of coffee.

Making Progress

Yesterday I was able to make some progress on Mona Lisa. I can not wait to complete this piece and frame it. I do like the Fine Art Heritage patterns because they are easy to stitch and results are always amazing (yes I know I must get a camera and take some pictures.)

Turn Off The Heat

It is 8:30 am here in Florida and I am melting! The weather is just what they advertise in all the travel magazines "Sunshine and Heat for all". I am never sure if it is the weather or if I am having a Hot Flash. I guess my electric bill will send me to the poor house (hope they let me bring my stitching).

I am enjoying stitching "Mona Lisa". All of the Fine Art Pattens are fun to do and are really amazing when done. I plan to stitch and watch the Ray's Baseball Game today.

It's Another Busy Saturday

I just sat down with my first cup of coffee and as usual checked all the blogs. I love keeping up with all the blogs and looking at all the beautiful work.

Today I have an early meeting with my boss (no one told him it is Saturday). I have a few loads of laundry and then a little general cleaning. Looks like there will be no stitching until tonight.

I am working on another WIP "Mona Lisa". It is going very slow. I did a little on the left corner (8 rows of solid color) DH just smiled and said "Oh I Can See It Now!!!!! It Is Beautiful!!!!! Maybe I would get more done if he did not have the ballgame on every night,

Good Morning All

I had a great weekend stitching and relaxing. I have to be at work early today, however, I will have a few minutes to stitch on my Queen Of Stitching. I hope to rotate to my next project tonight. I think I will stitch a small Santa design for a break from all the dark colors of Queen Of Stitching.

Spending My Evening Stitching

I decided to have my very own stitching party tonight. I fixed a quick dinner with as few dishes as possible (I have no dishwasher). I want to make as much progress as possible on Queen Of Stitching since I will move on to my next rotation on Sunday. I plan to rotate projects once a week (this is new to me). I have always just worked on one project at a time. I will enjoy the rotation of projects since my project I am stitching is a very large piece and I need a short break.

Just A Quick Update

I have not had time to work on my blog as I have been stitching like a crazy lady. I am working on a "Queen Of Stitching" picture on my side-bar. I am about 1/3 way finished. This pattern has lots of color changes so it holds your interest.

I plan to list my rotation list this weekend (that is in the works as I do not have a rotation schedule as yet). I am so glad I found you wonderful wise stitchers to motivate me to get organized and get stitching all those patterns that I have stacked in my stitching closet. I am so motivated and impressed with your blogs and stitching! Ohh .... someday I hope to be a member of your select top shelf status.

We have had tons of rain for the last two days (great stitching weather).

Keep up the good work. Check my blog often as I plan to jazz it up.

A Fresh Start

Today will be a Fresh Start to my blog. I deleted all my previous posts as I did not feel like they measure up to all the creative blogs I read here everyday...... Then I was sad and longed to post my blogs on my everyday life of stitching........... I could not stand it any longer....I had to make a fresh start and hope even tho my blogs may not contain pictures as yet ( will work on saving to get a camera) maybe others will find my world of stitching a blog that they will enjoy visiting.....

Project for today is to redo my blog and then post and bring everyone up to date on "what's Up with my needle and thread.
